Classified saw pants

Saw trousers are filled with strong fibres and reinforced in areas that are at extra risk, such as the lower legs. The trousers therefore protect against personal injury from flying debris. If the rotating chain collides with the trousers, the fibres in the trousers block the chain and the engine shuts down. Saw trousers are classified according to the speed of the chainsaw: class 0 protects up to 16 metres per second, class 1 up to 20 m/s, class 2 up to 24 m/s and class 3 up to 28 m/s.
