The spineboard is made of highly compacted polyethylene that prevents splintering and breaking and is X-ray permeable. The surface is impervious to body fluids and oil products and therefore easy to keep clean. This spineboard is ideal for use during total immobilization at accidents. This is partly due to the various slots for attaching cervical collars or a head immobilizer. Furthermore, the spineboard is completely seamless and moisture cannot penetrate.
