The Haix Fire Hero Vario is a slip-on boot manufactured in black leather which offers outstanding protection to fire fighters out on deployment. A CROSSTECH® membrane in the inner lining ensures that viruses and bacteria potentially contained within body fluids such as blood are unable to penetrate. This minimises the risk of infection to which you are exposed during the course of your work.

Upper Material:
Waterproof leather, hydrophobic, breathable (5,0 mg/cm²/h), 2.0 – 2.2 mm thick

Insert:
Moisture wicking comfort insert with cushioning effect and antibacterial properties. Separate heel cup ensures optimized cushioning and foot guidance. „AIRFLOW“ channels. „Perfect-Fit“ marking for optimized boot size choice.

Insole:
Moisture-absorbent fl eece insole.

HAIX® Composite Toe Cap:
Anatomically shaped, ultra-light toe capmade from fi bre-reinforced synthetic, conforming to the highest safety standards.

HAIX® High Durability Cap-systeem:
TPU cap with special profile for a longer lifetime.

Puncture resistant sole:
Flexible, lightweight metal sole insert preventing punctures (patent pending).

Sole:
Lightweight rubber/PU sole in a sports style with sturdy road/rough terrain profi le and enhanced toe-to-heel support; wear-resistant with excellent anti-slip properties - even in cold weather. The lightweight PU shock absorption wedge provides extra walking comfort and excellent thermal insulation. The fl ame-resistant outer sole is non-marking according to EN 15090:2012 and offers excellent resistance against heat, oil and fuels. Its bright yellow signal marks are visible even through thick smoke.

HAIX® Arch Support System:
Optimal ankle support and shock absorption in the arch provided by an anatomically formed last; good foot guidance and proper hold thanks to narrow heel and ankle shaft combined with added comfort through broad front foot area.

HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System:
The width of the shoe can be individually adjusted by 3 different insoles. The shoe is delivered with a red insole (medium). A yellow insole (wide) and a blue insole (narrow) can be ordered separately.

Sun Reflect:
Reduces heating effect on the upper leather. Sunlight is refl ected, keeping leather and feet cooler.

Others:
Leather loop at the zipper, pull-on straps, TPU-toe cap, heel inlay and inlay construction around tongue.
