This new recipro saw is a versatile machine. The DJR183 is equipped with two switches; a pull switch on the rear of the machine and a spoon switch behind the head of the machine. This makes it possible to hold and use the in various positions. Due to the compact housing and light weight, the machine can also be operated with one hand.

Due to the one-hand operation, this machine in combination with a reciprocating saw blade (P-47117) for fresh wood can also be used as a pruning saw. The saw blades are very easy to change thanks to the tool-free saw change: a (hot) saw blade can be changed with a single finger movement via a click system. The integrated LED lighting allows for more comfortable working in poorly lit areas. In short, the new DJR183 reciprocating saw offers a compact and lighter solution but retains the LXT 18 V interchangeability, tool life and speed.
